Yes! We’ve used the highest quality pure form of retinol in synergy with our patented ingredient Myrecil®. The two ingredients work together to enhance and strengthen each other – boosting collagen and hyaluronic acid in the skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles and softening skin. They’re all-natural ingredients with no nasty side effects. These creams are very concentrated, so just use a thin layer each time.
Atopis night creams contain sphingolipids and phospholipids, which give them a serum-like textural quality and allow them to be deeply absorbed into your skin cells. This is where the magic happens! Our creams are also enriched with ceramides which are lipids (fats) and contribute to the cream’s slightly runny texture.
No. Atopis night creams are formulated with potent active ingredients that do their best work while you sleep and while your body is in repair-mode. Using them during the day-time will make your skin sun sensitive and the UV exposure will degrade the cream’s active ingredients.
We have designed the cream to work with, or without, prescribed medications. However, some people, especially those on steroids or other prescribed medication do experience a short-term reaction. If you are currently using a prescribed medication for your skin, we recommend consulting with your doctor or health professional before trying Atopis.
Atopis is generally regarded as safe for you to use during pregnancy and during breastfeeding. Our foundational ingredient Myrecil® has been fully tested and proven safe in two clinical trials focused on safety and efficacy.
Atopis Night Creams contain high quality retinol. Although there is no scientific evidence to date that shows that topical retinol is unsafe during pregnancy, we would urge you to err on the side of caution and use another Atopis product instead. Oral retinols are not considered safe during pregnancy.
Atopis products include Macadamia seed oil, among other bioactive oils (Kiwifruit Seed Oil, Avocado Oil, Camellia Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil). Please note it is not the seed oil that is the allergenic component of nuts. We recommend that once you get your cream, do a test patch to ensure there is no reaction. Our experience shows allergy sufferers have not reacted to the cream.
If you have any allergies to any bee products or pollen, we recommend you do a patch-test first. We offer a 5ml sample here.
Please note, Myrecil® goes through a patented fermentation process which breaks down the allergenic proteins to peptides, meaning the bee pollen is no longer allergenic. If you have sensitive skin, please use our creams sparingly, in particular our night creams.
We recommend that you use both the Acne Prone Skin Cream and the Dry Itchy Skin Relief Cream in combination. Apply the Acne Prone Skin cream to the needed areas first then apply the Dry Itchy Skin Relief cream on top.
Atopis Radiance Enhancing Face Oil is also designed for acne-prone skin and will help to reduce blemishes, soften acne scars and even out skin tone.
Radiant Balance cream is scientifically developed for rosacea prone skin as it treats the underlying symptoms of inflammation, redness and microbial imbalance. Use it as your moisturiser morning and night after cleansing skin.
We recommend you use our Radiant Balance cream as a moisturizer in the morning and our Intensive Restore Night Cream as a serum at night. The two creams work in synergy together to have a clear and even skin tone.
The Atopis Radiant Balance cream calms break-outs caused by hormonal fluctuations and protects and repairs the skin from daily environmental stresses that result in redness and age spots.
The Intensive Restore Night Cream is an intensely hydrating cream and serum in one that works really hard on repairing skin damage. Pair it with our Intensive Renewal Face Oil for extra hydration and skin revitalization.
Try Atopis Acne Prone Skin Cream or Atopis Radiant Balance cream – or both in combination. The two creams work well in synergy. If using both creams together, use the Acne Prone Skin Cream as a serum (applying it to the needed areas), then applying the Radiant Balance over top. For extra hydration and to support acne-prone skin, try pairing your Radiant Balance cream with our Radiance Enhancing Face Oil.
Note: Please allow up to a month to rebalance the oil ratio in your skin. When you first start using Atopis Acne Prone Skin Cream, the product will begin clearing out bacteria that has been lying dormant in your skin cells. When this dormant bacteria is released from the blocked sebum gland it can sometimes result in pimples that are feeding off the old oil deposits. This will eventually calm down as your sebum glands rebalance.
All of our creams are developed for sensitive skin and for use on sensitive areas. There are no harsh chemicals and we use all natural ingredients. Refer to the ingredients lists on each product page, or contact us if you have any specific queries.
Every customer receives a tracking number with their order. We send you an email with these details. You can use this tracking number on your country’s main postal website or with NZ post online.
Unlike emollients and other creams, Atopis contains 10% pure, highly concentrated Myrecil® and another 12% of bioactive oils and shea butter. So you only need to use a thin layer as the cream has been specially formulated to go a long way.
Atopis night creams contain 69% (Radiant Balance) and 72% (Intensive Restore) active ingredients so use them sparingly.
Yes! Atopis products contain 100% natural, non-toxic and safe ingredients. We never use harsh chemicals or steroids. In fact, our entire range is chemical-free. Atopis is safe to be applied to children’s hands and harmless if the child accidentally ingests a tiny amount of product by hand-to-mouth contact.
For very young babies and children, we recommend you do a small allergy patch-test first to ensure that the child is not allergic to any of the ingredients in our products – just as you would with any other new product.
Yes, we offer a small product sample (you can purchase it here) to allow you to patch-test for any allergies or sensitivities before you buy a full-sized tube.
